The final adventure!

Miss McArthur, Mr Malloch and the sensational sixes had a fun morning exploring the forest. We clambered over trees, checked out lots of frog spawn and crawled through very wet tunnels. We finished off our activities for the week by heading to the Gorge which was WET and AMAZING!!!! We slid, climbed, splashed and worked together to get to the top. What a week we have had. Lots and lots of fun and it's been great learning new skills and taking on many new challenges....

Riverside adventure!

Mrs Mac's group headed out onto the gorge this morning and there was much excitement to be had on the naturally formed water slides. The pools were full enough for the children to fall into after sliding down with the fast moving water! Mrs MacAlister was the only one able to rescue Keiran's welly boot and Shannon, Demilee and Candice emptied a pond out of their boots after the event! This afternoon we are heading out on to the Loch again for more fun on the water and watch this space for the photographs tonight! All of the children are really enjoying getting WET! But don't worry they are having plenty of showers and tonight of course is the Disco! We aim to be home around 1pm tomorrow but will keep you posted via the school office. Mrs MacAlister and crew headed out in the morning for a fun time abseiling and climbing. We thought it was amazing but pretty scary. In the afternoon we headed to freezing Loch Eck for canoeing. Kieran and Simon were the fastest, along with Mrs MacAlister and Demilee.

Day 3 - Miss McArthur and the sensational sixes spent the morning canoeing on Loch Eck. We had lots of fun paddling standing up and changing canoes in the middle of the Loch. In the afternoon we went abseiling and climbing. A little scary for some but we were impressed with each others effort.

Day 2 - Miss McArthur's Group - Practising on the low ropes and mountain biking - lots of fun had!

Group 1 was learning about all the amazing things that you can do with things in nature - including fake tan from clay and a fake beard from edible lichen!Check out the photos for evidence of our new found knowledge! Mrs MacAlister

Day 1 -Wet but happy!

We've arrived!

We arrived at Benmore about 1pm.

We soon settled in to making our beds and unpacking our clothes.

We then went out on a nature trail and got very wet and very muddy but we're now inside enjoying juice and cakes!

We will try our very best to get some photos up tonight for you to view.

We're off to Benmore on Monday!

Hope you are all packed for camp!

Remember to bring a towel and we will make you have a shower!

You will also need your torch for our night walk!

Lastly take your packed lunch on the coach - don't pack it with your bag!
